This policy explains how Inland Epoxy handles information collected through https://inlandepoxy.com, our estimate forms, appointment tools, photo estimator, and website chat. It also explains how to control optional analytics and advertising storage.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Name, phone number, optional email address, city, ZIP code, and project timeline.
- Floor type, size, condition, desired finish, project notes, and appointment selections.
- Messages you send through chat and replies sent by our team or AI-assisted chat system.
- Project photos you choose to upload and technical details needed to process those files.
- Any information you provide when requesting access, correction, or deletion.
Information collected automatically
The site and its security systems may receive an IP address, user-agent, browser and device information, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, error information, and identifiers needed for sessions, rate limiting, fraud prevention, and consent preferences. The site also uses your IP address to look up the country you are visiting from, only to apply the right privacy default; that lookup is not stored. Unless analytics is off for you (see below), Google Analytics also measures page visits and successful website actions such as submitted leads, requested appointments, chat opens, and phone-call and text-message link clicks.
How we use information
- Respond to enquiries and communicate about the project you submitted.
- Prepare an initial estimate and arrange or administer a free on-site measure-up.
- Review photos, floor conditions, and project requirements.
- Operate chat, appointment, administrative, notification, and security features.
- Detect abuse, diagnose errors, and protect the website and its users.
- Measure website and advertising performance when the relevant preference is enabled.
- Comply with legal obligations and establish or defend legal claims.
AI-assisted chat and photo analysis
Chat messages and uploaded project photos may be sent to an AI service provider to generate a response or assess visible floor characteristics. AI output is an aid, not a final inspection or binding price. Photos cannot establish moisture, adhesion, or exact square footage. Do not send Social Security numbers, payment-card details, medical information, private documents, or other sensitive information through chat or photo uploads.
Website chat travels over encrypted connections and is retained so you and our team can continue the conversation, but it is not a private encrypted messaging app — treat it like email and keep sensitive details out of it.
When information is disclosed
We disclose information only as reasonably needed for the uses above, including to:
- Hosting, security, and storage providers that deliver the website and privately store records and uploaded photos.
- AI service providers that help generate chat responses and assess project photos.
- Communication providers that deliver operational notifications about your enquiry and appointment to our team.
- Google for analytics and, when permitted, advertising measurement. For that measurement, the phone number and email you enter in a request are sent to Google Ads in hashed (scrambled) form so it can tell which ad led to the request. They are not sent when advertising is turned off.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
Providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Some processing may occur outside California or the United States.
Cookies, local storage, and tracking choices
Necessary storage runs the features you ask for — chat, forms, appointment booking, and security. In the United States, optional analytics and advertising storage are on unless you turn them off. Outside the United States, they stay off until you allow them. You can change either setting at any time with the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered for about six months, after which the site may ask again.

This site uses Google Consent Mode. If optional storage is denied, Google does not read or write analytics or advertising cookies for those denied categories, but may receive limited cookieless signals for basic measurement and modeling. Advertising data redaction is enabled.
You can change your decision at any time. Rejecting optional storage does not prevent forms, chat, photo uploads, or appointment booking from working.
Global Privacy Control
We treat an active Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Wherever you are, analytics and advertising start off, and advertising cannot be turned back on while the signal remains active. The privacy choices panel says when the signal is detected.
California: opting out of sale or sharing
We do not sell personal information for money. Allowing advertising measurement on this site may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out with the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of every page, by turning off Advertising in that panel, or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. A choice made in the panel applies to the browser you made it in.
Retention
We retain contact, chat, estimate, appointment, security, and notification records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, business records, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Uploaded project photos are kept only as long as reasonably needed to assess and administer the project. Test leads, junk conversations, cancelled appointments, and associated photos can be deleted through administrative controls. You may also request deletion using the contact information below, subject to lawful retention needs.
Your choices and privacy requests
You may ask us to:
- Provide information about the personal information associated with your request.
- Correct inaccurate contact or project information.
- Delete information we no longer need or are not legally required to retain.
- Stop nonessential text or email communications.
- Change optional analytics and advertising preferences through the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of every page.
California law may provide additional rights depending on the nature and size of the business and the processing involved. We do not discriminate against anyone for making a privacy request. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including private photo storage, restricted administrative access, secure cookies, rate limits, and encrypted network transport. No internet or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate website notice when warranted.
